HyMu 80 alloy is an unoriented, 80% nickel-iron-molybdenum alloy which offers extremely high initial permeability as well as maximum permeability with minimum hysteresis loss.
HyMu 80 alloy has been used primarily in transformer cores, tape wound toroids and laminations where compactness and weight factors are important. It has also been used for shielding to protect electrical components from stray magnetic fields.
The TXEMM-BH01 automatic hysteresisgraph is a computer system used to measure the magnetic properties of soft magnetic materials at frequencies ranging from DC to 1KHz, following various ASTM standard test procedures. These tests are essential for selecting, producing, and ensuring the quality of magnetic materials used in numerous industrial applications, including electric motors, transformers, sensors, speakers, and recording media. TXEMM offers a wide range of magnetic properties testing for both "soft" and "hard" magnetic materials.
As an example of the use of the TXEMM-BH01 automatic hysteresisgraph, it can be used to test the permeability of Hymu80. The AC magnetic properties of Hymu80 are tested using the TXEMM-BH01 automatic hysteresisgraph, following the ASTM A927/A927M-04 test procedure. Each ring used in the test has an ID of 1.25", an OD of 1.5. The rings are stacked together and loaded into plastic bobbins with negligible gaps between the core and walls of the bobbin. AC inductions are measured using a primary coil of 160 turns and a secondary coil of 40 turns, wound uniformly around the bobbin with 28 AWG wires.
Are you in need of precise and reliable magnetic measurements for your samples? Look no further than our Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) testing service. Our VSM is capable of measuring the magnetic properties of a wide range of materials, including solids, liquids, powders, single crystals, thin films, and more. With the ability to measure magnetic moment as a function of an applied magnetic field and (inverse) magnetostriction using a special sample holder, this system offers unique capabilities that set it apart from other magnetic measurement instruments.
Our VSM can measure magnetic properties in a variety of magnetic fields, from low to high, using electromagnets, Halbach rotating permanent magnet arrays, or high-field superconducting magnets. It can also perform measurements across a broad temperature range, from very low to very high temperatures, using integrated cryostats or furnaces. And with a dynamic range extending from 10^-8 emu to above 10^3 emu, it is capable of measuring both weakly magnetic and strongly magnetic materials.
Under full software automation, our VSM can measure and record a wide range of magnetic properties, including hysteresis M(H) loops, torque curves, isothermal and DC demagnetisation remanence curves, and temperature dependent magnetic properties. With a noise floor of 1 × 10^-7 emu at 10 s/pt and high stability of ±0.05% per day, you can trust in the reproducibility and accuracy of our results.
Our VSM has a available temperature range of 50 K to 1000 K, and is capable of measuring magnetic fields up to 3 T. With vector, magnetoresistance, and autorotation options available, our VSM can provide the comprehensive magnetic measurement capabilities you need.
